Just some photos I had saved on my computer from a long time ago aka early blogging days. It's interesting to see how your style changes, evolves, and as time goes on, even goes back to the original style somehow. I find these photos beautiful, but I also find myself looking at more and more fashion-y photography these days and I'm not sure which I like best.

P.S. The winner of the Abby Try Again giveaway is comment #53, Lynda of be simply happy. Congrats, Lynda! Please email me with your postal address so we can get your prize out to you :)

EDIT: If you didn't win the giveaway, fear not! Abby is offering a discount of 20% off in her Big Cartel shop until June 30, 2010, just type in "gypsy" at the checkout :)

I can get lost in these photos for days...so dreamy.

& I agree, it is interesting to see how our personal style evolves but somehow their is always that one part that manifests itself and makes you simply, you.

@the notebook doodles: yeah, you were one of my first readers! i forget how your blog used to be haha. but i think that's generally the way it is. our lives change, our perspectives change, our friends change, etc so we change along with everything else.

Laura Loo on June 15, 2010 at 5:20 PM said...

yea, i love these!! :) the first one is dreamy and childish, its great! and i love the second one as well -- a wedding photo? I think it's taken on the Oregon coast! :)

The Drifter and the Gypsy on June 15, 2010 at 5:28 PM said...

@Laura Loo: I think the second one was a self portrait? They're all by Olivia Bee, a teenage photographer from Oregon, so you're probably right that they were taken on the Oregon coast!

the setting in the second photo looks like a plce in Washington state that i went to during sunset and saw dolphines swimming into the sunlight. it was gorgeous (and so is the photo)
